Play a prank on someone

Okay, so today is not April Fool's Day, but I already had something planned for tomorrow, so I decided to celebrate early today! I have never actually done any pranks before, so this is a new one for me.

Play a prank on someone (April Fool's)
So I suck at pranks. I tried 3 mild ones in hopes that 3 lame pranks = 1 good one. Here is what I did:

1. My boyfriend hates stuff on his laptop desktop. Hates it. So I decided to take random stuff and put it all over in a messy, disorderly fashion.

He sure enough didn't know how to get rid of them, thinking that dragging the images to the trash would delete them forever.

2. Wrapped up some toilet paper and put it in his shoes. Made sure to also saran wrap it to avoid any fluffy tissue feels.

3. The best one of all. My boyfriend loves his honey roasted peanut butter. He eats at least a spoonful everyday. So I added a little bit of salt! Not too much, don't want to ruin a whole jar of peanut butter. Then I covered up the little salt crystals for a surprise when he goes to get a spoonful.

We will see how these pranks play out!

Play Obsessed with Star Trek until I earn 15 points

Seeing as how I am still sick and I spend a lot of my time in a coma, I decided to spend quality time with my boyfriend today and do something that interests him. What did we do?

Play Obsessed with Star Trek until I earn 15 points
I was expecting this to take me all day, because I am awful at this game and my Star Trek knowledge limited, but it actually went pretty smoothly and I think I did the best I've ever done today. Granted, some of it was guess work, but I actually knew some of the questions or had remembered them from previous games. Amazingly, I also think that for the first time ever, I did better than my boyfriend.

The book works in multiple choice. The little screen at the bottom shows you which question to answer and you pick from options A, B, C and D.

These are the questions I got right, in order answered:

1) The Next Generation crew's second film outing was more successful than anyone could have hoped. It's $30 million opening box office made First Contact the best opening among the first ten films. Featuring time travel, the Borg, and a new ship, the sophomore film pleased almost everyone.
Picking up plot threads from Picard's assimilation in the third-season cliff-hanger, this film also had what The Wrath of Khan brought: a strong villain. But giving a "face" to a race of hive-mind cybernetic drones required a different approach. Thus the Borg queen was born. Inexplicably separate and yet still connected to the Borg communal mind, she tempted Data to join her in her quest to achieve perfection.
How long did Data think about her offer?

2) Though Commander Shelby clearly wanted Riker's job, what did she end up doing after the battle of Wolf 359?

3) How did the Duras sisters discover the Enterprise's shield modulation frequency?

4) What type of radiation stranded the Galileo 7 shuttlecraft on the planet Taurus?

5) What did the temporal core of a Krenim ship do?

6) Once assimilated, what colour did a Borg drone's skin become?

7) Who seemed best able to keep Miles and Keiko's infant son from crying?

8) Which former Enterprise cre member had died while in Exile with Khan?

9) What top speed could Danube-class ship runabouts reach?

10) In Star Trek: Next Generation, what division did a red suit signify?

11)  How did Kirk explain Spock's odd behavior to Dr. Taylor?

12) For centuries, governmental power on Cardassia had been shared between the military's Central Command and its secret intelligence agency. The official name of the governing body was the Cardassian Union, and the civilian Detapa Council served as a bridge between its two branches. However, it was little more than a figure head for the true governmental authorities.
After the battle of the Omarion Nebula, the first major engagement in the war between the Dominion and the Alpha Quadrant, the Detapa Council and a Cardassian dissident movement briefly took control of the government.
One Cardassian military commander secretly negotiated for the Cardassian Union to become part of the Dominion. In the episode "By Inferno's Light", he became the ruler of Cardassia. Who was this officer?

13) While infected by the energy cloud in "The Practical Joker", what does the U.S.S. Enterprise computer send out to decoy the Romulan vessel?

14) What punk rock legend guest-starred as Yelgrun in "The Magnificent Ferrengi"?

15) In 2373, the U.S.S. Defiant was equipped with what type of new communications technology?

And that's all for today. Tomorrow, I have decided to give my boyfriend a pre-April Fool's day prank! My energy is starting to pick up again, so that should be fun!

Arrange all of my drawings in a scrapbook

Today I am sick. Already off to a great start with my 365 days of activities! But fear not, for knowing how weak and sickly I am, I have prepared for such an event. As you will notice on my list, I have low-key activities, as well as some creative ideas that don't require a lot of energy.

Arrange all of my drawings in a scrapbook
So today I decided to go out and get a scrapbook to arrange all of the drawings I have taking up space on my already cluttered desk. In hindsight, this wasn't the best move for my current condition. Neither was eating too much flavorless food at lunch. But, despite sweating and stinking up the poor store, I found a scrapbook I loved and decided to go with it.

Unfortunately, we were stuck waiting in line because the one I found was the only one they had like it and it was unwrapped and had no bar code or price sticker. Eventually they sold it to us with a 40% discount, because apparently we happened to go on scrapbook sale day, which is always fun. So I am very happy with how things turned out!

Here is what it looks like:

Very plain, but classy, so it can still focus on my artwork. Another plus is that the center black paper can be removed for drawing in which I had used both sides of the paper, so I can show off the drawings on each side.

Then I took my favorite drawings to date and added them in there!

This is some of my earlier work:

And then I added some of my more recent drawings:

And there we have it. I filled up about 15 pages, those are just some examples. It does feel nice having them all organized and easy to access in one binder.

Two things down, 363 to go!

365 things in 365 days

Over the next 365 days, I will be attempting to complete 365 of the things on a list I made. This is to help motivate me to try and experience new things, do things that I find enjoyable, learn new things, and to overall not feel like I'm in such a rut.

In this blog I will document my progress, success, and failures as I attempt to do one of these things everyday. Every day I will pick one thing and focus on it. On these days, I may accomplish some of the other things on my list, but I will still reserve a day specifically for those.

I won't update the blog every single day, sometimes I will be out of town for a week or more, but I will post the progress when I come back. Usually, this will be updated upon completing the task. I'll try to include pictures as often as possible!

Here is my list of 365 things, sorted in to certain categories. They are in no particular order. I hope you have fun during this adventure with me!

Finalize and organize a list of 365 things to do and start a blog to document it
